Summary
No account is needed. Your documents stay on your device and are never uploaded to us. The app uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for diagnostics, Google AdMob for ads, and Google Play Billing for the optional Pro upgrade.
1. Documents and data on your device
- Markdown files you open or write, plus your settings, are handled on your device.
- We do not have access to your documents and do not receive copies of them.
- PDF and HTML exports, and anything you share, go only where you choose.
2. Storage access
The app accesses only the files you pick with the system file picker or open from another app. It does not scan or read your other files.
3. Remote images
Images hosted on the internet inside a document are loaded only if you enable this option. When enabled, your device requests those images from the servers that host them, which may see your IP address.
4. Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. They may collect app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics and device identifiers. This data does not include the content of your documents.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads).
6. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The optional Pro upgrade is offered as monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details.
7. No account, no selling of data
The app has no sign-in. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Retention and deletion
Your documents remain in the locations where you saved them. Uninstalling the app removes the app's own data from your device. For questions about diagnostic data, email us.

We may update this policy; the new version and effective date will be posted on this page.
